A bump in the number of contracts in the Belmont market over the last 30 days resulted in the highest amount since July. 30 homes went under contract to go along with 14 completed sales, which also extends a six-week downward sales trend. In comparison, Hayward had 26 contracts executed in the same time frame, the most of all nearby municipalities. The median sales price rose to $1,502,500 over the latest reporting period for Belmont, up from $1,400,000. With only two months of inventory and rising contracts, Belmont is a strong seller's market.
