Greenfield Real Estate Market Extends Downward Trend in Home Prices

The Greenfield market showed gains in this week's report, as the number of home sales rose 12.5%, pushing the total to 18 homes sold over the last 30 days. At the same time, close-by Northampton reported 20 home sales, the highest number from all the surrounding cities. The median sales price of homes sold came in at $172,450, which extended a downward swing in price to four weeks. Along with the increase in sales, the fact that there are a lower-than-normal three months of inventory indicates that Greenfield is a seller's market.
