Sales rose to 37 homes sold over the last 30 days in the Lancaster market. Sellers can expect less competition, however, due to a three-week downward trend in homes coming into the market, now down to 37 for the same period. All indications show that the trend may be coming to an end, meaning more new listings over the next few weeks. While new seller numbers were weak, the median sales price of homes sold came in at $144,000, which extended a price upswing to four weeks. The rising prices, along with the fact that there are a lower-than-normal two months of inventory, drive home the fact that Lancaster is a solid seller's market.
