Fairfield County Real Estate Market Sees Sales Decline

In this week's report, the number of homes sold in the Fairfield County market fell to 136 over the past 30 days. It marked a decrease of 6.2% from last week's report and another period below the monthly average. Within the same time period, New Haven County had 836 sales, the most of all counties in the area. The median sales price dropped to $275,000, down from last week's $285,000. Fairfield County is a definite buyer's market, thanks to a big eight months of inventory to choose from and a pullback in sales.
