In this week's report, the number of homes sold in the Carmel market dropped to 144 over the past 30 days, but still above the monthly average. Meanwhile, close-by Indianapolis reported 1,045 homes sales, the highest number from all the surrounding cities. The median sales price dropped to $292,500 over the latest reporting period for Carmel, down from $295,000. There are only three months of inventory available in Carmel, so it's a seller's market, even with the decrease in sales.
