Suffolk County was the most popular part of the New York Metro Area, with 1,227 homes sold. The median sales price dropped to $414,000, extending an eight-week long spiral. Along with the falling prices, the relatively large nine months of inventory means that the New York Metro Area is a definite buyer's market.
