In comparison, nearby Santa Cruz had 45 sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighboring cities. The median sales price dropped to $715,000 over the latest reporting period for Scotts Valley, down from $800,000. In spite of the decrease in sales, a low two months of inventory signals that Scotts Valley is a definite seller's market.
