The Maricopa County market made gains this week as sales rose 4.2% to hit 6,292 homes sold over the last 30 days. In comparison, nearby Pinal County had 633 sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighboring counties. Prices are falling in Maricopa County, and this period the median price of all sales fell from $240,000 to $239,000. Along with the increase in sales, the fact that there are a lower-than-normal three months of inventory indicates that Maricopa County is a seller's market.
