The Pierce County market slowed with a 2.5% sales drop in this week's report. However, overall sales numbers for the last 30 days remained above the monthly average (36.1) with 39 homes sold. In comparison, nearby St. Croix County had 119 sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighboring counties. The median sales price dropped to $200,500, down from last week's $202,804. With decreasing sales and the availability of seven months of inventory, Pierce County is a definite buyer's market.
