Over the last 30 days, 25 homes went under contract in the Mendocino County market, the lowest amount since April. As the market appears to be nearing a bottom, there were 59 homes sold over the same period. In comparison, Sonoma County led all other nearby counties with 312 contracts executed. Potential buyers should note that prices are coming down in Mendocino County, and for this period the median sales price slid from $374,000 to $361,000. Mendocino County is still a strong buyer's market, in spite of the uptick in sales, thanks to the availability of seven months of remaining inventory.
