In this week's report, the number of homes sold in the Westchester market fell to 28 over the past 30 days, a decrease of 6.7% from last week's report, but still above the monthly average. In comparison, nearby Elmhurst had 49 sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighboring cities. The median sales price dropped to $211,217 over the latest reporting period for Westchester, down from $211,450. In spite of the decrease in sales, a low three months of inventory signals that Westchester is a seller's market.
