The Mount Vernon market pulled back with a 10.8% sales drop in this week's report. However, overall sales numbers for the last 30 days remained above the monthly average (48.9) with 66 homes sold. In comparison, nearby Anacortes had 40 sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighboring cities. The median sales price dropped to $248,975, down from last week's $254,000. Despite the slip in sales, a relatively low two months of inventory indicates that Mount Vernon is a definite seller's market.
