In this week's report, the number of homes sold in the Wilmington market slid to 72 over the past 30 days, a decrease of 2.7% from last week's report, but still above the monthly average. In comparison, nearby Pike Creek had 18 sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighboring cities. Prices are rising in Wilmington, and the median sales price this period increased from $116,500 to $119,950. Wilmington is a solid buyer's market, due to a big eight months of inventory left and aided by the dip in sales.
