In this week's report, the number of homes sold in the Columbia Heights market fell to 42 over the past 30 days, a decrease of 6.7% from last week's report, but still above the monthly average. Within the same time frame, the Catholic University-Brookland neighborhood had 55 sales, the most of all neighborhoods in the area. Prices are rising in Columbia Heights, and the median sales price this period increased from $555,000 to $560,000. In spite of the decrease in sales, a low two months of inventory signals that Columbia Heights is a strong seller's market.
