The District of Columbia market will be getting more competitive in the short term. Sales have fallen this week to 631 homes sold over the last 30 days, and there is also a new upward trend of new listings, with 858 going live in the same time frame. Prices are falling in District of Columbia, and this period the median price of all sales fell from $529,000 to $525,000. With only two months of inventory to sell, District of Columbia is a solid seller's market, in spite of the dip in sales.
