In this week's report, the number of homes sold in the U Street Corridor market slid to 15 over the past 30 days. It marked a decrease of 16.7% from last week's report and a fall below the monthly average. Within the same time frame, the Capitol Hill neighborhood had 78 sales, the most of all neighborhoods in the area. Potential buyers should note that prices are coming down in U Street Corridor, and for this period the median sales price slid from $680,450 to $679,900. In spite of the decrease in sales, a low two months of inventory signals that U Street Corridor is a strong seller's market.
