The Hometown market added another nine transactions over the last 30 days. With three price reductions, the lowest amount since April, the market may be finding a price bottom. In comparison, Chicago led all other nearby municipalities with 3,711 price reductions. Prices are falling in Hometown, and this period the median price of all sales fell from $118,250 to $111,500. With just one month of inventory available and sales going up, Hometown is a strong seller's market.
