Over the last 30 days, 10 homes went under contract in the Middlesex County market, the lowest amount since July. As the market appears to be softening, there were seven homes sold over the same period. In comparison, Gloucester County had 50 contracts executed in the same time frame, the most of all nearby counties. The median sales price rose to $243,000 over the latest reporting period for Middlesex County, up from $237,000. A downturn in contracts, coupled with the availability of 27 months of inventory, prove that Middlesex County is a solid buyer's market.
