In this week's report, the number of homes sold in the South End market fell to six over the past 30 days. It marked a decrease of 14.3% from last week's report and another period below the monthly average. On the other hand, the close-by Asylum Hill neighborhood registered seven homes sold in those same 30 days, the most of all surrounding neighborhoods. Potential buyers should note that prices are coming down in South End, and for this period the median sales price slid from $200,000 to $175,000. Despite the slip in sales, a relatively low three months of inventory indicates that South End is a seller's market.
