A four-week growth trend in the number of homes sold was extended this week after the Cheswolde Area market added another 14 transactions over the last 30 days. With 12 price reductions, the lowest amount since July, the market may be looking for a higher price point. During the same time frame, Park Heights county had the most of any other close-by neighborhood with 60 price reductions. Prices are falling in Cheswolde Area, and this period the median price of all sales fell from $169,589 to $103,100. Along with the downward trend in price reductions, a relatively low three months of inventory indicates that Cheswolde Area is a seller's market.
