A bump in the number of contracts in the Lafayette market over the last 30 days resulted in the highest amount since July. 19 homes went under contract to go along with six completed sales, which also extends a five-week downward sales trend. In comparison, Sherwood led all other nearby municipalities with 42 contracts executed. The median sales price of all transactions in Lafayette did not budge this week, remaining at $261,000. Despite the flat sales, a relatively low three months of inventory remaining indicates that Lafayette is a seller's market.
