While home sales in the Irvine market have been above average, in this week's report they slid 2.1% to 231 homes sold over the last 30 days. On the other hand, close-by Anaheim registered 186 homes sold in the same time frame, the most of all surrounding cities. Months of inventory continued a steady fall, trending downwards for eight weeks to reach three months. In spite of the decrease in sales, the lack of inventory signals that Irvine is still a seller's market.
