The Gloucester County market slowed with an 8.5% sales drop in this week's report. However, overall sales numbers for the last 30 days remained above the monthly average (45.2) with 86 homes sold. Meanwhile, James City County reported 207 home sales, the highest number from all the surrounding counties. The median sales price of homes sold came in at $210,000, which extended a downward swing in price to four weeks. Along with the falling prices, the relatively large seven months of inventory means that Gloucester County is a definite buyer's market.
