Over the last 30 days, the Petersburg City market was active with 26 homes sold. It marks a 30.0% increase from last week's report, while also topping the average sales volume for the prior 12 months. At the same time, Chesterfield County reported 417 home sales, the highest number from all the surrounding counties. Prices found a bottom with the median sales price falling to $30,000, a nine-month low. Even after the uptick in sales, an elevated seven months of inventory tells us that Petersburg City is still a strong buyer's market.
