Sales Decline in Downtown Real Estate Market

The Downtown market pulled back with an 11.1% sales drop in this week's report. However, overall sales numbers for the last 30 days remained above the monthly average (10.4) with 16 homes sold. Meanwhile, the Capitol Hill neighborhood reported 78 home sales, the highest number from all of the surrounding neighborhoods. The median sales price in Downtown stayed put this week at $540,750. There is only one month of inventory available in Downtown, so it's a definite seller's market, even with the decrease in sales.
