With home sales in the Marietta market already below average, in this week's report they slid 3.9% to 122 homes sold over the last 30 days. Within the same time frame, Atlanta had 1,062 sales, the most of all cities in the area. The median sales price dropped to $224,500, down from last week's $225,000. There are only three months of inventory available in Marietta, so it's a seller's market, even with the decrease in sales.
