The York County remained below its 12-month average sales volume this week as sales slid 3.5% to hit 82 homes sold over the last 30 days. Within the same time period, James City County had 192 sales, the most of all counties in the area. Prices are falling in York County, and this period the median price of all sales fell from $288,000 to $281,450. With decreasing sales and the availability of eight months of inventory, York County is a solid buyer's market.
