In this week's report, the number of homes sold in the Franklin market fell to nine over the past 30 days, a decrease of 10.0% from last week's report, but still above the monthly average. In comparison, nearby Chesapeake had 295 sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighboring cities. The median sales price rose to $164,000, up from last week's $150,000. Franklin is a definite buyer's market, thanks to a big nine months of inventory to choose from and a pullback in sales.
