In this week's report, the number of homes sold in the Springfield market slid to 14 over the past 30 days, a decrease of 22.2% from last week's report. In comparison, nearby Drexel Hill had 24 sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighboring cities. Prices were able to climb as this week's reported median sales price of $313,500 continued a four-week upswing. With decreasing sales and the availability of eight months of inventory, Springfield is a solid buyer's market.
