The Santa Cruz County market slowed with a 5.0% sales drop in this week's report. Overall sales numbers for the last 30 days remained below the 179.1 monthly average with 153 homes sold. On the other hand, close-by Alameda County registered 923 home sales in the same period, the most of all surrounding counties. The median sales price dropped to $710,000, down from last week's $760,000. In spite of the decrease in sales, a low two months of inventory signals that Santa Cruz County is a solid seller's market.
