In this week's report, the number of homes sold in the Columbus market fell to two over the past 30 days. It marked a decrease of 33.3% from last week's report and a fall below the monthly average. In comparison, nearby Brenham had seven sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighboring cities. The median sales price of homes sold came in at $87,000, which extended a price upswing to four weeks. With decreasing sales and the availability of nine months of inventory, Columbus is a strong buyer's market.
