The East Palo Alto market recorded four home sales over the last 30 days. Also, a record low five new listings came into the market, the fewest since last January. In comparison, San Jose had 231 new listings in the same time frame, the most of all nearby cities. As new listings were reduced the average selling price followed the pattern, hitting a three-month low at $704,000. With only two months of inventory remaining and a downward trend in new listings numbers, East Palo Alto is still a definite seller's market, in spite of the falling prices.
