While home sales in the Lake Merritt market have been above average, in this week's report they dropped 20.0% to four homes sold over the last 30 days. In comparison, the Grand Lake neighborhood had seven sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighborhoods in the area. The median sales price dropped to $572,500, down from last week's $580,000. With only one month of inventory to sell, Lake Merritt is a definite seller's market, in spite of the dip in sales.
