The Orinda market slowed with a 26.3% sales drop in this week's report. Overall sales numbers for the last 30 days fell below the 18.1 monthly average with 14 homes sold. In comparison, nearby Oakland had 231 sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighboring cities. The median sales price dropped to $1,395,000, down from last week's $1,475,000. In spite of the decrease in sales, a low two months of inventory signals that Orinda is a strong seller's market.
