The Austin Metro Area market seems to be approaching a bottom, as the number of contracts executed fell to 1,867, the lowest levels since last January. Meanwhile, sales came in at 1,909 homes sold over the last 30 days. Travis County had 1,009 contracts executed, making it the top contributor. The median sales price climbed to $289,900 over the latest reporting period for the Austin Metro Area, up from $288,000. Despite the falling contracts numbers, there are only three months of inventory remaining, indicating that the Austin Metro Area is a still seller's market.
