Over the last 30 days, 2,316 homes went under contract in the San Diego County market, the lowest amount since last January. Sales seem to be trending down, falling to 2,363 homes sold over the same period, and extending an 11-week downward trend. During the same time frame, Los Angeles County had the most of any other neighboring county with 2,518 contracts executed. The median sales price dropped to $494,000 over the latest reporting period for San Diego County, down from $500,000. In spite of contracts trending lower, there are only two months of inventory available, which signals that San Diego County is a still strong seller's market.
