The South Boston market pulled back with a 5.6% sales drop in this week's report. However, overall sales numbers for the last 30 days remained above the monthly average (60.4) with 85 homes sold. Meanwhile, the Central Boston neighborhood reported 57 home sales, the highest number from all of the surrounding neighborhoods. The median sales price of homes sold came in at $640,000, which extended a downward swing in price to four weeks. Despite the falling prices, a relatively low two months of inventory indicates that South Boston is still a strong seller's market.
