The Downtown market hit a low in the last 30 days, continuing a three-week trend. Sales shrank 11.8% to 15 homes, the lowest amount since April. In comparison, the Zilker neighborhood had 13 sales in the same time frame, the most of all close-by neighborhoods. Furthermore, a three-week downward trend in sales is expected to continue over the coming weeks. Prices are rising in Downtown, and the median sales price this period increased from $550,000 to $599,000. A downturn in sales, coupled with the availability of eight months of inventory, prove that Downtown is a strong buyer's market.
