Bridgeport Real Estate Market Extends Increase in Home Prices

The Bridgeport market slowed with a 14.3% sales drop in this week's report. However, overall sales numbers for the last 30 days remained above the monthly average (5.6) with six homes sold. In comparison, nearby Philadelphia had 1,063 sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighboring cities. Prices were able to climb as this week's reported median sales price of $197,250 continued a four-week upswing. There are only three months of inventory available in Bridgeport, so it's a seller's market, even with the decrease in sales.
