The San Mateo County remained below its 12-month average sales volume this week as sales fell 14.6% to hit 397 homes sold over the last 30 days. Within the same time period, Alameda County had 923 sales, the most of all counties in the area. Prices are rising in San Mateo County, and the median sales price this period increased from $1,025,000 to $1,060,000. Despite the slip in sales, a relatively low one month of inventory indicates that San Mateo County is a strong seller's market.
