Contracts Low in Houston Metro Area Real Estate Market

Over the last 30 days, 10 homes went under contract in the Houston Metro Area market, the lowest amount since March. As the market appears to be weakening, there were 13 homes sold over the same period. Harris County had four contracts executed, making it the top contributor. The median sales price dropped to $255,000, down from last week's $262,720. With a downward trend in contracts numbers and 1,831 months of inventory still left to work through, the Houston Metro Area is a definite buyer's market.
