Over the last 30 days, the DC Metro Area market was busy with 8,977 homes sold, a 3.5% increase from last week's report. Fairfax County made up the largest percentage, with 1,783 sales on its own. The median sales price rose to $407,000 over the latest reporting period for the DC Metro Area, up from $400,000. The rising sales and a low two months of inventory point to the DC Metro Area being a definite seller's market.
